Get to Know Kat: 10 Fun Facts

I am so glad you're here and thank you so much for checking out my new blog, The Kat Carson Blog! In honor of the blog launching, I wanted to share a couple of fun facts about me to help my readers get to know me better. As a blogger and content creator, I think it's so important to connect with my audience and maybe we will even have something in common!

1. I’m happily married to my husband, Taylor! We've been married for almost seven months and have been together for almost four years now!

2. I’m a dog mom to a sweet and energetic corgidoodle (Corgi + Poodle Mix) named Milo. He even has his own Instagram account @milothecorgidoodle!

3. I graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Sociology. Go Captains!

4. I was in marching band for two years in high school and three years in college. I was in color guard and have so many fun memories from being a part of the marching band. When I was a junior in college, the Marching Captains were given the opportunity to travel to Dublin, Ireland and march in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and it was such an incredible experience!

5. I am a sister of the Kappa Phi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha.

6. I was a part of the Disney College Program during the spring of 2018 where I was a merchandise cast member at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. I had the opportunity to work on Main Street U.S.A. in Curtain Call Collectibles, Box Office Gifts, the Chapeau, the Confectionery, Main Street Cinema and Uptown Jewelers!

7. I am a big Disney fanatic (if you couldn’t guess from above!) and absolutely love visiting Walt Disney World! Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of Disney content on the blog, too!

8. My all-time favorite TV show is Friends! It’s one of those shows that I never get tired of no matter how many times I watch it.

9. I absolutely love autumn and all the fall things! Between the weather getting cooler and so many things happening leading up to the holidays, it is the time of year I look forward to the most!

10. I love to read and enjoy reading all kinds of books especially memoirs, the Harry Potter series and the Bible.
