Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

Update: As of February 12th, the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience has closed at the Leesburg, Groenenberg, Cheshire and Westchester locations.

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll have to add Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience to your bucket list! Located at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia, this ultimate Harry Potter experience features so many scenes, creatures and elements featured in the beloved films.

You’ll feel like you’re stepping right into the movies when you walk through the forest. As you’re walking along the trail, you’ll notice many beloved scenes and magical creatures including Hagrid, a Hippogriff, nifflers, the flying car from Chamber of Secrets, and much more. You may also encounter a few spiders along the trail but don’t worry… if you’re afraid of spiders (like me!), you’ll be able to bypass them!

There are also a couple of stands where you can purchase some snacks and refreshments, including the infamous butterbeer. There is a concession area right at the beginning of the trail and another in the middle of the trail so that way you’ll never go hungry on your journey.

And if you’re looking for a souvenir, there is a gift shop at the end where you can buy exclusive merchandise themed to the Forbidden Forest Experience.

With so many interactive elements, photo opportunities, and more, this was definitely one of my favorite Harry Potter experiences. The whole experience was truly one-of-a-kind and will last about 60 to 90 minutes. Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience currently has other locations in Westchester, New York, Cheshire, UK and Groenenberg, Belgium.

Make sure to check out the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience website to learn more about this magical and spell-binding experience!
